Still in Piken Square...still getting our ass-kicked, and, had Althea been alive, maybe I could be taking down Garfaaz Bloodfang right now, but no, I'm sitting here hoping for a miracle instead. It's me against the world...of Ascalon.

This run was actually really amazing and I loved every bit of it. I like how the lore was more Trainer based than Pokemon based and even the Pokemon lore revolved around the things going on with Napoleon aka Nipple. lol.

We actually got the mic working this time! So, leave it to me to have things pretty lined up and ready, yet something always messes up. Our only goal was to get our Airship, then the Rat's tail, and then find Bahamut so we could get a class upgrade. Who got lost? Meeeeeeeeeee!!!!

The randomized Firered was a really cool experiment. With it's different Gym types and randomized encounters, it made for really interesting play. Not as deep as Emerald IMO but, it really had its moments. Still with laughs and tears, loveable Pokemon, and even some returning friends from Gens past!!!

It's an interesting game and one of the first ones released for the DS console when it came out...but, unlike an actual Yoshi game, this is nothing but a few mini-games based in using the touch screen and improving your score. Not my cup of tea...but good nonetheless.
